The Clift Hotel is a 90-year-old, 24-story historic hotel. The project consisted of a complete remodel of the reception areas, meeting rooms, kitchen, restaurant, Redwood Bar, back of house, corridors and all 175 rooms. Decker Electric performed design/assist with electrical, life safety and voice/data features. Decker Electric also performed a complete fire life safety upgrade with new addressable fire alarm system to handle visual alarms, monitoring switches and elevator recall. The most incredible aspect of this project was the fact that this massive remodel never shut down more than 4 floors of the Hotel at any one time.
